Directions for use: place crickets in a plastic bag along with calcium, shake to dust. Feed approximately 12 dusted crickets per week for every 2.5 ounces of body weight. A: As long as you have the correct lighting, d3 is not needed. Well once Or twice a month still, and only as part of their multivitamin. Get Arcadia lighting 6% or 12%, with d3 added. That’s right, you can buy lights that produce d3 just like the sun!

A: Yes it is.  Calcium carbonate is the calcium form for this product.  This is the same  form many people take.

**Q: Can I use this for my red slider turtles to eat**
A: Turtles absolutely need calcium in order to be healthy, along with phosphorus and vitamin D3. If a turtle is deprived of calcium long enough, it can eventually develop metabolic bone disease.
