Tablet Holder for car, Gooseneck iPad Mount for Car Dashboard & Windshield

To all the folks out there with phones/tablets in cases that turn your devices into tanks, YOU NEED THIS MOUNT!!!! As you can see from my montage of photos, I have the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 in the SUPCASE Unicorn Beetle Pro Case. If anyone has this same build, you know as well as I that your phone is a bona fide tank in your pocket. The case even as an open compartment for the Samsung S Pen, which I also have. All this together makes your phone awesome, but horribly bulky, meaning there's rarely going to be any mounts you can use for your phone, and have it work. I have a tripod mount for home, but I have to sit my phone a bit offset for it to work. A bit annoying, but nothing to really nitpick about. I've purchased 3 different mounts for my phone and none of them could really hold it because of this bulky case. And then this gem comes along! Whether I keep my phone folded or fully open, this mount gives more than enough room to hold it perfectly and still have room to spare! On top of that, the gooseneck is way more sturdy than most plastic mounts that snap if you so much as flinch while holding it. If you look carefully, you'll notice that the suction cup is sitting on an 80mm 3M VHB Adhesive Dashboard Pad Mounting Disk. That's only because I personally don't like the gooey gel suction cups that these types of products come with. They damage fast, the adhesive for those suction cups wear off easily and you're left with a sticky mess that ruins everything. So I got that disk for a cleaner, more secured fit. If I ever need to change it out, a little Goo Gone will handle it perfectly and swap it out. No sticky residue, no mess, no fuss. I know this review seems to shoutout multiple items that I bought on Amazon, but it's mainly for this god-tier mount. I'm so excited to finally have a great mount that fits my exact needs (with a little help obviously). Hope this helps anyone else out there going through this issue. I defintitely plan on buying this mount again in the future when I need it. Might even buy one sooner than later just to have as a back-up in case something happens. Thanks again to this company! UPDATE: The seller has reached out and offered to help me with the product and went out of their own way to take care of me. I didn’t ask for anything or any help. THATS true customer service, they get involved with their customers and I’m truly grateful. That alone always gives sellers 5/5 in my book 4 DAYS ATTACHED TO MY DASHBOARD! On the 4th day I came out to my car to find my apple CarPlay with this mount attached to it on the floor and nice scratch on the screen of my $150 apple CarPlay. It fell off at some point in the night. I reduced it down to 1 star because now I have this scratch on my brand new screen and the suction cup is useless even when doing their trick to revitalize the stickiness did not work. Unfortunately. I was really hoping it would! It’s such a stable unit, I guessed I have the worst luck. I hope my input helps! If you follow the instructions, it’s extremely stable! The suction is so strong that after I let it cure for 24 hours on my dashboard, I tried to remove it and it wouldn’t budge! 6/5 amazing quality and the stuff goose neck bend makes it super versatile. I have a 9” CarPlay system that weighs about 3 pounds and nothing would hold it up until this mount. I even tried gorilla glue on the mount they give you and it’s not as good as this! I will be honest and say the only time the screen shakes a little is when I drive over bridges, but nothing has fallen off or broken yet. Overall I HIGHLY recommend trying this one! Big time

With proper prep, these (I bought 2 based on reviews) stick to the dash of my 20-year-old SUV and keep my phone, GPS, and 12" tablet where I put them. My first use was a trip of 830 miles and they worked perfectly! The only issue I had was when I got home and needed to do some cleaning. I wanted to lift the arm out of the little clip, but it is so strong (good!) that the clip came off of the little sticky pad instead. No problem, though. I just pressed it back onto the pad and it's back like nothing happened. Neither one has come loose and I've had both in place for over a month with no issues at all. Sturdy, strong, haven't let go. But when I cleaned under them the other day, there's a little tab on the main base that helps me release it and reposition it as needed. Nice touch. My GPS (Garmin 6.5") has its own mounting mechanism, but nowhere to mount it where I can use it. It's between the steering wheel and window. Great location! The second one was for my tablet to the right of the main center stack (console). It was along for the original ride of 830 miles, but now I use it for my phone and it's great. It's hands-free to watch my OBD scanner for live data, or to see test messages (I don't text and drive, but I'll answer if I'm at a stop light using speech-to-text), or to answer the phone. I may get another one or two for my other car. Still thinking about it, but these are that good!

I love the clamp because it's deep enough to hold my 1.25" thick carplay tablet. But I don't like how the bracket connects to the dash or windshield. I had previously purchased a different one a couple of days before but the clamp wasn't deep enough and wouldn't hold my carplay tablet. It connected by way of the cd player slot. Since I never used the cd player anyways, I thought it would be perfect. That part worked great but the clamp was too narrow to hold the carplay tablet. So what to do? I decided to keep the other one and to purchase this one also. Upon receiving this one, I took the clamp and connected it to the previous cd slot bracket connector. It was exactly the same size ball connector and worked perfectly. So I used the clamp from this company in combination with the cd slot bracket from the other company and now have the perfect carplay holder for my Sprinter Van. Yes, I paid double but its the only way it would worked for my vehicle. They should consider a cd slot attachment bracket also. Who knows, maybe I'll use the remaining parts on another vehicle.

I mounted the holder itself to the ball mount already in the car (the suction cup seems pretty nice, I'll use it for a different vehicle) I tested it with my Ulephone Armor 27, which most phone holders struggle to hold. It holds it just fine. Also pictured is my kindle fire 7, in a very thick aftermarket case, which it somehow holds, becoming the first tablet holder to ever hold that one . It can also just barely stretch far enough to hold a Ulephone RugKing Pad 2. The negatives are that it's a little hard to get a phone into/out of due to the lack of an opening mechanism. And it wants to SLAM closed. Both rather common problems at this price point. But if your phone is a bit of a chonker, this will hold it.

Let's start with the short return window... I'm a otr driver and ordered this for my tablet, unfortunately had I ordered it while I was home I still couldn't return it simply because of how long I'm out on the rd for. Now onto the product. I was so excited when I installed it and my tablet fit! 6 and a half days later... it broke. It broke in the 1 spot they should definitely reinforce. Unfortunately common sense is a lost thing. Good luck to those who have one and those who choose to buy one. Beware. Update: The business reached out to me and sent a new tablet holder. Unfortunately I'll be keeping it at 3 stars for now as I have a 80$ tablet holder that I was forced to purchase when this one originally broke. So I do not know if this replacement is great or not, but at least customer support is great!

I purchased the iPad mounts for our group of pilots so we can use them on the 2 flight simulators we have, we always had to lay the iPad on our laps and we always ended up dropping them on the floor while reaching for controls etc. on the flight simulators. These mounts are extremely rigid with the help of the arm clip, even without that clip on the arm it works perfectly. We were at the airport terminal having coffee and one of the pilots wanted to see the mount and after I showed him the mount he was impressed with the quality of the item and commented "how can they make this good of a product at this price"? He ordered one right then and there for his boat. (he uses his ipad for navigation application on his boat as we do for flying airplanes) We are very pleased with this product and I am sure others that see these will be ordering one or more for themselves. You might want to advertise these towards pilots and boat owners in addition to car owners.

Love it. Have a toddler case on the tablet and it holds well.

Used it in the car after following instructions and it didn't do its job, being unstable and adhesive letting go a few times until it fell off completely.

Actualización 24/07/26 Hace ya varios meses que se despego el brazo de la base... la goma dejo de pegar. no lo volvería a comprar He visto bases y me han tocado muy corrientes pero esta es todo lo contrario. La instale en un Sentra 2021 Advance. La pude por detrás de la pantalla y pase la tableta por encima de la de serie. Una opción que esta buena es que literal, puedes doblar casi hacia atrás la base para poder ver la de serie por la cámara de reversa. Por el diseño del auto u su pantalla solo tuve la opción de pasar por encima la tira y que quede un poco salida pero queda súper genial. Deja pegar la primera base 12 horas o más, ni se te ocurra andar de desesperado. Esa cosa no la vas a despegar a menos que le pongas una pistola caliente. La segunda base no hay que esperar. Definitivamente la recomiendo al 1000%

This is a fantastic bracket, holds my small tablet very secure.

Poorly designed hunk of plastic. Good suction power, however the single arm design means that there is excessive instability in a moving vehicle. A poor product compared to the competition.
