Question 1

I don't see any symbol showing kosher inspection on the picture of the label. Where is the symbol? And which kosher certification is it?

Accepted Answer

The info says “Halal & kosher ingredients”

Question 2

The listing says organic in the title, but nowhere else. Is it actually organic?

Accepted Answer

Thank you for your question. I do apologize, it appears that the word organic had been erroneously included in the title for this product and has since been removed. I can confirm that whilst Advanced Hydrolyzed Collagen Peptides is ethically sourced from grass-fed, free-range cattle raised on farms with strict animal welfare protocols, this product is not certified organic.

Kind regards,

Question 3

What country are these 100% grass fed bovines from?

Accepted Answer

Thank you for your question. I can confirm that the cattle are reared for the meat and dairy industry in Argentina where they are outdoors on a pasture 365 days per year with access to fresh grass, air, land and water. Confinement is forbidden unless weather conditions pose risk to the animals. The farms where the animals are reared follow strict protocols toward animal welfare and human handling.

Question 4

Which Jewish authority certifies the product as kosher? Where is the symbol? Or does the product merely claim to be kosher?

Accepted Answer

If it does not have a kosher certification seal or symbol, then you can’t assume it’s rabbinically kosher. It may be “ingredient kosher,” but other processes and preparation methods cannot be assumed kosher. I’m assuming that without a kosher certification, they are meaning the ingredients are kosher – but of course that is not the full definition of kosher.
