Quality teas from Sri Lanka guarantee you will enjoy every last drop! Alwazah Tea is a 100% natural product. A regular intake of Alwazah Tea not only refreshes your body but also contributes to a healthy lifestyle. Alwazah Tea contains catechins, which help to prevent cardiovascular diseases. From the Manufacturer of Alwazah Tea: Built in 1997, the operation is among the most modern in Sri Lanka. It encompasses tea warehousing, tea processing, quality assurance and marketing – all under one roof. The state-of-the-art tea bagging machines produce staple-free, knot technology teabags. Each teabag produced by this machine is optically scanned to ensure a defect-free, safe-for-use product. We also operate an automated tea-blending machine with a capacity of 10 metric tons per hour. Our History and Packing Process: Tea is grown in several districts in Sri Lanka, the largest exporter of tea. The tea plantation areas cover some 200,000 hectares and range in elevation from near sea level to over 2,000 meters above sea level. After harvesting, these teas are processed at over 700 factories situated at various elevations. These factories produce six distinctive types of tea depending on their geographical location and climatic conditions. One of these areas produces a special type of tea that is sold under the Alwazah or Swan Brand. The factories that produce teas suitable for the Alwazah Brand are generally situated at an elevation of not more than 600 meters above sea level. The tea in all Alwazah packs is manufactured within hours of harvesting and packed only days after manufacture. Therefore, Alwazah Tea is garden fresh thus retaining the original quality. Our skilled Tea Tasters examine and analyze samples of approximately 7,000 different lots of tea which are produced each week to obtain those which are suitable for the Alwazah Brand Review: Very good tea. - Best tea ever...makes great sun tea for iced tea and is very good as regular hot tea. Much better than the national brand in the yellow box found in stores. Review: An excellent black tea!! - Alwazah Tea is an excellent Ceylon tea at an unbeatable price!! (Even though the name sounds Middle Eastern, it is a pure Ceylon tea, which is actually the Sri Lankan black tea that's been huge in Britain since about the mid-1800s.) I think you get about 220 bags of it here for $12.00. Imo, that's about as good as it gets.... Incidentally, if you like British black teas but don't want to spend the max on every cup you drink, Alwazah is an excellent daily go-to tea. Honestly, there are times I prefer to drink Alwazah to instead of Taylor of Harrogate or Harney & Sons (my favorite English breakfast teas). It brews nearly as fast as P&G Tips, but is considerably less thick in consistency, while more subtle in taste--even if it's not quite as subtle as top drawer British teas. ## Features - 100% pure Ceylon - 220 tea bags!!!! - If you like English Breakfast type tea, this tea is for you! - Made in Sri Lanka ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0B59LZ3G3 | | Best Sellers Rank | #97,300 in Grocery & Gourmet Food ( See Top 100 in Grocery & Gourmet Food ) #721 in Tea Samplers | | Brand | Alwazah | | Brand Name | Alwazah | | Container Type | Bag | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 426 Reviews | | Flavor | Ceylon Tea | | Item Form | Teabags | | Item Volume | 110 | | Manufacturer | Finlays | | Number of Items | 2 | | Package Size Name | Pack of 2 | | Part Number | FTMP-0050 | | Recommended Uses For Product | Relaxation, Stress Relief, Immune Support | | Specialty | Natural | | Tea Variety | Ceylon | | UPC | 364875759402 | | Unit Count | 220 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Alwazah - **Flavor:** Ceylon Tea - **Item Form:** Teabags - **Tea Variety:** Ceylon - **Unit Count:** 220 Count ## Images ![Tea, 100% pure ceylon, Pack of 2 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71jVX8+LynL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Is this chai the tea they have in Iraq? With white sugar?** A: No, this is not chai tea. It is the best Ceylon tea (black tea) I have ever tasted. No calories, just plain tea. It makes great-tasting ice tea as well as hot tea. **Q: What is the expiry date?** A: If you buy from Triple Traders, my expiration date is 2021. Thanks ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very good tea. *by M***E on September 19, 2026* Best tea ever...makes great sun tea for iced tea and is very good as regular hot tea. I steep the bag for about 3-5 minutes and the strength is perfect....not too strong, not too weak. I used to buy this at a local Asian food market, but couldn't find any when we moved to a small town in the Ozarks. Finally found some online/Amazon, and life is good once again. ## Frequently Bought Together - Alwazah Tea, 100% pure ceylon, Pack of 2 - Alwazah Triple Traders Loose Tea Pure Ceylon 12.7 Ounce (oz) 360 Grams Pure Tea - Ahmad Tea Black Tea, Cardamom Teabags (No Envelopes), 100 ct - Caffeinated and Sugar-Free --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/527227421-tea-100-pure-ceylon-pack-of-2](https://www.desertcart.no/products/527227421-tea-100-pure-ceylon-pack-of-2) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-25*
