The hardest part is removing the old ones, especially getting the lower pin out. I undone the strut at the top then used the strut itself to slowly encourage the pin out. There's a plastic cover over the pin that you need to put a hole in to remove it. I did the hole with a small finger drill bit to keep it tidy. The top silver cap on the strut, I drilled a tiny hole next to it, so I could wedge it off. Hope this helps! **Q: What size are the holes at the ends ??** A: Hi, the end location holes are 8mm. They work well and came well packaged. My only criticism is the lack of clarity of instructions for installation. However, a YouTube video showed a trick to remove the grommets. Speaking of the grommets, it was useful to be supplied a selection in different colours so I could match the rest of my trim.
