Do these work on midges?

Yes they sure so, fantastic for midges too

Do these go on the clothes or skin?

Hi They go on clothes. Best regards

What happens if they get wet?

I couldn't get mine to stick to cotton, maybe just a faulty batch but mine wouldn't have stayed on at all in water
