Specification: Size 1/2” for radiators, towel rails and UFH. Operating pressure 16 bar @ 120 °C. leakfree guarantee. 5yr operating guarantee.

Review: A good valve bleed option - Bought a two pack of these valves to replace ageing manual valves on two towel rail radiators. Being high in our system the two radiators needed bleeding more than any others and the bleed screws were wearing and I feared them snapping off. Our plumber recommended this type of bleed valve. The two new valves look to be of good quality, shiny chrome finish, and fitting was simple, a five minute job. No need to drain the system, I just shut off the inlet and outlet valves on each rad and swapped them out. A nice tight fit and a test showed no issues when the rad valves were opened up and the system fired up. I'll review the functionality of the valves to see if they work (ie no air build up) over the next few days/weeks and then update the review.
Review: Significant Improvement to Central Heating - I changed out my central heating, going from copper pipes to Hep2o, and installed 6 new radiators (4 being tall ones). Since installing them, the heating has always been a bit noisy, gurgling sound in radiators, dripping sounds, etc. Tried draining the system and refilling (a few times), regular bleeding, adding inhibitor, adjusting the valves, but nothing seemed to work. Just recently I replaced all the radiators and TRVs again (like for like - the radiators I originally got had a manufacturing fault and the paint had started to blister after just 18 months). After this the sound seemed worse, and also got a very nasty new vibration sound in some of the radiators that was really loud, a slight turn of the TRV would make it stop. Tried bleeding again as this was suggested as a fix for the loud vibration noise from google research, balancing, all to no avail. These were a bit of a last ditch attempt and they have made a massive difference. Installation was really easy, installed them on the 4 tall radiators we have, taking about 10 minutes per radiator. Once installed there is nothing more to do except use heating as normal and let them do what they were designed to do. After the first night all noises from the radiators stopped, no more gurgling or dripping sound, no nasty vibration on the TRVs - amazed by them. The significant nose I hear now is from the boiler at the opposite end of the house! The heat output also seems to have improved a fair bit, but that could be due to the recent cold-spell making it appear to be throwing out more heat. Would really recommend them, at this price point and due to ease of installation they really are worth a try if you have a noisy system or want to see if you can get any improvements with heat output/efficiency.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: These did not work, had to loosen both to let air out as it did not auto bleed, then tighten to stop water leaking. What did I do wrong?**
A: My auto-bleed valve did not work - I had to bleed the radiator manually so something is not right here ! Plenty of air was released when manually loosening the nut. So much for the extravagant claims by the manufacturer.

**Q: Do they allow auto draining if the system needs to be drained**
A: Yes, if the system is cold , but it is much easier if just a single radiator is to be removed to slacken the auto-vent assembly a small amount.

**Q: Do I replace the bleed valve with these or the blanks so that if they don't work I can still bleed it manually?**
A: Replace the bleed valve. The automatic valves can be bled manually if required.

**Q: I purchased a pair of HV30c one has stopped working How do I contact the manufacturer.**
A: See details on Amazon advertisement

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does what it says,
*by T***R on 13 February 2024*

I had some radiators added to my existing central heating system (over 15yrs old) and somehow the new setup made the system really noisy with air swirling thru pipes and two of my furthest upstairs radiators filling with air constantly. I was bleeding air from them weekly and then daily. My builder had no idea why this was happening but designed some other changes near the boiler to minimise the introduction of air in the system. It would be a little time consuming a few £100+ on my budget. Somehow I came across this product on an online forum and decided to try it. It was easy to install without any draining and although I only installed 1, it seems to have done the trick for me. Reduced noise (not completely) in the pipework and no more air to manual release from the radiators. I installed 1 on the opposite side to the Manual Air vent allowing the option to use this if the Aladdin fails. I did find however (just like another reviewer) that it took a few heating cycles for the air to completely vent, but 1 month-in , I am very impressed by this easy to DIY gadget.
