Following the first world war, in 1919 addis purchased the production premises in hertford and the factory was ready to start production in early 1920. Cleaning the bowl itself is straightforward — it rinses clean easily and doesn't retain smells or stains, even after messy jobs like soaking baking trays or cleaning up after big Sunday roasts. **Q: what the size**
A: The bowl is 37.5cms long x 31cms wide at its largest at the top of the bowl.

**Q: Our sink is Corian sided with a stainless steel base - will this scratch the steel?**
A: no it should not. we have a double stainless sink system and have a bowl in each.

**Q: does anyone know the measurements of the bowl? in cms**
A: I'm not currently able to measure it but I can say it fits in my kitchen sink with a reasonable amount of space on each side.
