Review: Great for cutting matts from my cat's fur!!! - I bought this kit to help cut out matts from my cat's fur with the big seam ripper. It works ok but what I really love is the little scissor like thing. It allowed me to get deep into the matts because I could really control these and could use my hand to feel her skin so that she didn't get any cuts at all. With regular scissors I was terrified of using them on her because I couldn't maintain a hold on her skin to be sure it was not going to cut her. I managed to get them down perfectly so that could come along with a very small pink razor that's only for small cats and dogs and is super super quiet and got rid of all her tangles and saved myself 180.00 for our 4th vet visit. I'm so sorry thankful for this little kitty. It's also perfect for all kinds of sewing, embroidery and cross stitching to remove mistakes. Very well worth the price. Would buy this again!!!

**Q: Are these sharp? All the ones i have are dull and dont last long.  Are these sharp??**
A: yes to shopping at to get the job done they come with two extra large ones and I've used those for like trying to take the seam out of jeans

A: I do not know where they are made.  I DO know they are effective.

**Q: Can these be used with criss stitch?**
A: I believe these rippers would work on any stitch, You might have to rip twice on a cross stitch 
I used these to rip denim and an old tarp and they worked great

**Q: Do these work in an airplane restroom?**
A: I would have to know the exact details of this engagement, in an airplane restroom, before I could 100% guarantee success or not. One too many in-flight "beverages" could lead to a failed mission.
