Are diprobase and zerobase identical creams?

The ingredients of Diprobase cream are: white soft paraffin, cetostearyl alcohol, liquid paraffin, macrogol cetostearyl ether, chlorocresol, sodium dihydrogen phosphate, sodium hydroxide, phosphoric acid and purified water. Zerobase Emollient Cream. Ingredients: Liquid Paraffin, White Soft Paraffin, Cetostearyl Alcohol, Macrogol Cetostearyl Ether, Sodium Dihydrogen Phosphate Dihydrate, Chlorocresol, Phosphoric Acid, Purified Water. So they are basically the same and do the same thing I.e. both are water based emollients for dry skin conditions Kind regards Reach Pharmacy

My doctor prescribed zeroderm ointment but the cream version has a dispenser which would be easier for use. I wonder if the cream version is similar?

I also get it on prescription. I use the cream to wash and as a moisturiser. I find the cream suits my skin better and as you note, the dispenser helps.

Can i use zeroderm on my face

I use Zerobase both as a wash for my face and as a moisturiser for both face and body. I swear by it as it is brilliant. My 87-yr-old mother also uses it for her face as she was advised to by her pharmacist.

can i put the dispenser in recycling

I cannot see any information on the label saying that it can be recycled
