Would you recommend this to straighten my long, very curly and easily tangled beard. If not, what would you suggest?

I bought this for my husband and he has a very tight curly beard and he uses this balm every day and it’s in better condition with using this. It looked very dry and unkempt before but now it’s shiny and in much better condition
