The T225 tab driver is one of the world’s best selling Manual Tab drivers, with proven reliability over many years of use. Magazine Feed Light Weight Yet Strong Build Ideal for Picture Framing or Window Glazing Works with any Backing Material Used by Hobby or Professional Framers Use Flexible or Rigid Tabs 1 Year Product Guarantee This hand operated tool is used to insert flat tabs which neatly secure glass, artwork and backing board into a picture frame. Choose from either flexible or rigid tabs – the flexible tab can be bent up (just using a finger nail) so that the contents of the frame can be easily changed or taken out for cleaning. The rigid tabs are made from a stronger steel and can be used for a more permanent fixing. Tabs are not included with the driver, please order separately.

Review: Very good tab gun - The tab gun works very well and is easy to use. However, initially I had some problems with the adjustment of the pressure as two tabs came out instead of one. The problem may have arisen because I have small hands and found it difficult to apply enough pressure with my fingers to operate the tab gun. People with larger hands may not have this problem. I rang 'Framers Corner' and they helped me over the phone with the adjustment. Since then it works very well. The previous model lasted about 13 years. So, I hope that this one will last as long.
Review: Brilliant product - I was SO nearly put off by the negative reviews, but ordered anyway. This is the most brilliant, easy to use tab gun. I have ONLY used it on oak (me being a beginner at framing but up for a challenge), found it easy to load due to helpful instruction sheet that came with it, it was very powerful with only a small amount of pressure on the trigger, and the only thing that I would suggest is making sure the frame is against something firm on the side that the tabs are going into as it packs such a punch.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can presure be varied for different types of wood?**
A: information on the box states "adjustable driving force for different woods".small wheel on back of gun indicates left or right for different pressure.

**Q: Does the gun come with staples.**
A: Hi Jill,  I don't think there were any staples with it. You can choose which type you need . . The ridgid or the flexible. The flexible are the type that you punch into the frame and they bend to hold the backing board in place. You can then change the picture. The ridgid I think are more of a permanent thing. It is a very good product and does the job well.Hope this helps.

**Q: What type of clips do you use with this gun.**
A: T4F Flexible Tabs or T4R Rigid Tabs. (Depends on density of wood). Not sure what the term "clips" means in this context.

**Q: Can the gun be used to nail the corners as well?**
A: Hi, no this tool is used to keep everything inside the frame. It inserts flat tabs to keep the items all in the frame.
You would need a different item to join the corners of the frame, we have the PFK03 or PFK04 Tools that would do that job for you.

A very well made and designed bit of kit. It did an excellent job and being metal for the most part rather than plastic should last for years. It is also considerably cheaper than other makes! The tabs are cheap as chips so even if you make a foul up starting again is not an expensive matter.
