Amazingly, we still make both these products, although they look rather different today. From the 1960s on, generations grew up using our iconic red Silvine exercise books with the laurel wreath logo on the cover. Do you remember the conversion tables on the back? If you’re old enough, you'll know they were once in ounces and bushels before grammes and metres came along! ## Features - 24 cards per pack - White - Plain - Tabbed A-Z ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Asin | B004W7HLKY | | Best Sellers Rank | 9,521 in Stationery & Office Supplies (See Top 100 in Stationery & Office Supplies) 54 in Binder Dividers | | Brand Name | Silvine | | Colour | White | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars (416) 4.6 out of 5 stars | | Global Trade Identification Number | 05011566036742 | | Item Dimensions L X W | 20.3L x 12.7W centimetres | | Item Weight | 0.11 Kilograms | | Manufacturer | Silvine | | Manufacturer Part Number | 885 | | Material Type | Card | | Model Number | 885 | | Number Of Packs | 1 | | Package Size Name | Pack of 24 | | Sheet Count | 24 | | Size | 8x5" | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | ## Product Details - **Material:** Card - **Brand:** Silvine - **Colour:** White - **Size:** 8x5" - **Sheet count:** 24 ## Images ![Silvine 8x5 Guide Cards in Plain White, Tabbed A-Z. I would rather print months of the year myself if it is plain.** A: The alphabet letters are printed on both sides. **Q: Are these index cards coated with any plastic coating?** A: Yes the coloured A, B, C tabs at the top of the index card has a shiny plastic coating. **Q: how many cards do you get?** A: I got one set which covers A - Z but includes M and Mc. PQ is on one card, as well as XYZ - all in a total of 24 cards. They are good quality and the alphabet letters are in red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple. **Q: Which of the sizes is closest to the size of a greetings card. I want to use something like this to divide and organize my cards?** A: The 8x5 is probably closest to a standard greeting card size, although I would say it is probably slightly smaller. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ worth buying *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 11 August 2026* good product ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good quality. *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 18 February 2026* Good quality. Even though I had a pack missing the letter 'S' ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Incomplete Alphabet! *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 8 November 2021* I bought these for my workplace (pharmacy). We file everything alphabetically, so these cards are really helpful to keep prescriptions in order.I did not expect the alphabet to be wrong! There was no N, and 2 Us…..!!!!Too much hassle to return them, so we’ve manually amended them….but it’s a poor show tbh. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/51716227-silvine-8x5-guide-cards-in-plain-white-tabbed-a-z](https://www.desertcart.no/products/51716227-silvine-8x5-guide-cards-in-plain-white-tabbed-a-z) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-27*
