mini 12 camera, Mint Green

Absolutely love the Instax Mini 12. It’s so much fun to use and incredibly simple to get started with. The photos come out brilliantly and there’s something really special about having a physical photo straight away rather than just keeping everything on your phone. It’s compact, looks great and is perfect for holidays, parties and capturing memories. Definitely recommend! reliable, good exposure, doesnt jam and compatible with the sheets off amazon

The instax mini 12 camera in pastel blue is a delightful addition to the world of instant photography. Its charming, compact design and vibrant color immediately catch the eye, making it as much a fashion accessory as it is a functional camera. The pastel blue hue is both trendy and cheerful, perfect for capturing memories in style. One of the standout features of the instax mini 12 is its user-friendly interface. Setting up the camera is a breeze, even for beginners. The straightforward controls ensure that you can start taking photos almost immediately out of the box. The camera's simplicity does not compromise its functionality, making it accessible to photographers of all skill levels. The instax mini 12 excels in producing high-quality instant prints. Each photo boasts vivid colors and sharp details, characteristic of the beloved instax film. The camera’s automatic exposure function is particularly impressive, adjusting the shutter speed and flash to suit the lighting conditions. This results in well-exposed photos whether you’re shooting in bright sunlight or indoors. The built-in flash is effective without being overpowering, ensuring that subjects are well-lit without washing out the photo. One of the features I particularly appreciate is the close-up mode. By simply twisting the lens, you can switch to close-up mode, allowing you to capture detailed shots from as close as 30-50 cm away. This is perfect for portraits or capturing the finer details of your subject. The selfie mirror next to the lens is another thoughtful addition, making it easier to frame self-portraits and group shots accurately. The camera’s instant gratification factor is one of its main appeals. Watching a physical print develop in your hand within seconds of taking a photo never gets old. It’s a joy to share these tangible memories with friends and family, something digital photos can't replicate. The compact size of the prints also makes them ideal for scrapbooking or displaying on a wall or fridge. While the instax mini 12 camera is a fantastic device, it’s worth noting that the cost of film can add up. Each pack of film contains 10 shots, so frequent use may require a steady supply of refills. However, the joy and nostalgia of instant photography often outweigh the cost, making it a worthwhile investment for those who cherish printed memories. In terms of battery life, the instax mini 12 performs admirably. It uses two AA batteries, which are easy to replace and readily available. The battery life is sufficient for several packs of film, ensuring you won’t run out of power during a day of shooting. Overall, the instax mini 12 camera in pastel blue is a delightful, fun, and functional camera that brings the magic of instant photography to life. Its combination of stylish design, ease of use, and high-quality prints make it a must-have for anyone looking to capture and share moments in a uniquely tangible way. Whether you’re an avid photographer or someone looking to add a bit of whimsy to your snapshots, the instax mini 12 is sure to impress.

I’ve been using the Instax Mini 12 in mint green, and it’s a fun little camera to have around. It’s really easy to use — you just turn it on and it’s ready to go, which makes it great for quick snaps with friends or at events. The instant photos come out in credit card size, and while the quality isn’t perfect, it has that classic instant film look that feels quite special. The built-in flash works automatically, so you don’t have to think too much about settings. There’s also a selfie mode with a small mirror, which is handy for close-up shots. Print time is fairly quick, around 5 seconds. It does use film, so running costs can add up, but overall it’s a nice, simple camera for capturing memories in a more physical way.

I bought the Instax Mini 12 for my 4-year-old daughter so she could snap moments throughout the day, and it’s honestly been a brilliant purchase. From the moment she got it, it’s hardly left her side. She carries it everywhere, pulling it out to take quick photos of everything from her breakfast to her adventures in the park. It’s become a daily ritual for us to sit down and talk about what she captured — and it’s made for some genuinely lovely, memory-filled conversations. The photo quality isn’t on par with a smartphone, but that’s exactly what we expected — and it doesn’t take away from the joy she gets from using it. The charm is in the physical photo instantly appearing, and that old-school excitement really hasn’t worn off, even after a week of heavy use. We’re slowly building a little photo album together, and it’s quickly turning into a treasured collection. A couple of small drawbacks: the included case gets in the way a bit (she struggles to open it quickly when she sees something she wants to capture), and the film refills are pricey — but that’s really the only downside. If you’re looking for a screen-free, hands-on way to get young kids into photography and storytelling, this is absolutely worth it. We love it — and I’d happily recommend it to any parent with a creative little one.

Bought as a gift for an 11 year old who wanted a camera but does not yet have a phone. The camera itself has a very sturdy feel to it and is robust enough that I am not worried about it standing up to the rigours of an older child. The pastel colours available are all really appealing and the pink one we have is a lovely colour and well received by my daughter. A case is an advisable add on I would recommend as although sturdy, it’s a bulky item to carry around on its own (not exactly pocket sized!) and so a case adds some extra protection from bumps as well as a more convenient way to carry it around (there is a wrist strap included). In terms of functionality, the camera itself is easy to use with a simple twist of the lens to turn it on and off, with an extra twist to use the zoom lens for close ups. A simple button press takes the photo although be warned not to press it accidentally when positioning the camera as it obviously will waste a photo (we have had a few ‘oops’ moments!)! It is also simple to insert and use a film pack (which come in packs of 10) and the back clicks securely in place after the film is inserted so is unlikely to be opened by accident (& thus ruin the film). For a newbie, I would alert you to the fact that the first ‘picture’ on the film after insertion is actually the plastic cover which took us by surprise the first time after carefully taking a picture then realising it wasn’t actually a picture at all that popped out! There is a useful countdown number on the back too which shows you how many pictures are left on the film before it runs out which is helpful, especially if you have a child using it. The selfie mirror is a nice feature to help get better selfies if that is what you want to use the camera for. My daughter has used this, but prefers being able to look through the lens to take a photo. The quality of the pictures does vary and depends on several factors including how still you hold the camera, how light it is and how close the subject for the photo is. My daughter has had varying success with the photos so far (see examples of this in the pictures) and we have found the flash (which triggers automatically when needed) only minimally impactful when it is a darker environment. I would generally avoid very dim locations for photos. Also, far away pictures do not have a very clear defined picture quality so perhaps not the best use for this type of camera. What it does well though is closer up photos in brightly lit areas and my daughter has been pleased with how well some of the pictures have come out. The impact of a picture popping out of the camera and the excitement of watching it slowly develop is real. So fun! Also, having an instant record of something you can keep, or give to a friend is a lovely feature which is somehow lost in the digital world we live in. My daughter has been able to easily document her holidays and time spent with friends and family, without parental input, and has some lovely keepsakes she can look at. The pictures are a great size for making a wall collage, scrapbooking with or keeping in a wallet etc. Overall, the camera is a nice little piece of equipment that has a retro feel to it and makes for a lovely gift. Whilst not the best quality of pictures, the instant and tangible nature of the photos make it a worthwhile way to create memories to look back on. It’s not a digital camera and it’s not trying to be, but this instant camera creates an element of fun to taking photos that is lost with digital.

I bought this for my 13-year-old son to take on his school trip, and it was a brilliant purchase. The instant prints were a huge hit with him and his friends. The funniest part was watching a generation raised on iPhones remember they actually had to look through the lens! 😂 In a world where everything lives on a screen, it was wonderful to see them creating real photographs they could keep, swap and treasure. Easy to use, great quality, and the pastel blue colour is gorgeous. Highly recommend!

Present for my daughter and she loves it, film isnt cheap though

Really happy with this Polaroid camera. It’s easy to use, takes great photos, and has that classic instant-photo feel. The quality is impressive, and it’s perfect for capturing fun moments with friends and family. Would definitely recommend!

このカメラはプレゼント用に買ったのですが、妻はとても気に入ってくれました。

Loved it! Bought it for my trip to Europe and it worked perfectly!

Had instax polaroid cameras for years now. I'm just obsessed and bought this as a gift. Was highly appreciated. Totally would recommend if you're into polaroids and old fashion cameras with a cute twist!
