I also purchased a 3 meter JJC cable because I need to control the camera from a distance. The material feels like very brittle plastic and won't take much to break. It is, however, the best available remote I could find for the AX53 that will allow more control over the zoom, while being ergonomic. I also purchased a 3 meter JJC cable because I need to control the camera from a distance. Unfortunately, Amazon does not seem to carry a compatible cable longer than 1 meter, so I had to shop around for something.
