## Description

'Alicia Keys: A soul star is born.' - Rolling Stone , April 2001 'Don't mistake her for another teen-idol wanna-be... equal parts natural soul and technical prowess... a mature artist cast from a different mold... genuine... unique sound... a star waiting to happen.' - Billboard , April 7, 2001

Review: Lyrics and music - Good album
Review: Music Full Of Soul And Sweet Emotion - I purchased this album for Mama Jane, as the copy she originally had years ago eventually got a bunch of spots where it started skipping, so I asked her if I could find her a new copy, and she gladly said yes. Alicia Keys is one of those girls whose music is so amazing. Her voice is so full of soul and sweet emotion. She can even tell when you're feelin' blue, as she does for both of us. Even better, I love the way she plays the piano! Her sweet tones make me feel at ease and she even writes lyrics that are straight from her heart! One of the songs I like on there is "All Your Troubles", which is like a soothing piece of advice for me. It's like she's telling me, "Just let go of your worries and take it slow.". I wish I could meet her one day and show her some of the music that I write! I bet she's a sweet lovin' woman! I give this album a solid 5 stars!
