Sharp, light, easy to handle. Feels like it will last for a long time Review: Feel like Wyatt Earp with this long holster on my hip - but I'm much quicker on the saw! - I do a lot of branch pruning with some heavy duty loppers and a heavy duty pruning saw, but wanted something a bit lighter because the heavy duty stuff can be a bit tiring after a couple of hours or so. I saw this in the desertcart Lightning deals and decided to take a chance on it, and have not been disappointed. The "cut" on the "pull stroke" took a minute or so to get used to, but from then it cut everything very smoothly. My heavy duty pruning saw has deep notches for cutting thicker branches, but although the teeth on the Felco are all even it still cuts quite thick branches, and it also give a much finer cut. It is also extremely sharp and the blade is only a bit over an inch wide, which means you can easily get between tightly growing branches to cut just the branches you want to. I thought the holster was a bit of gimmick when I saw it advertised but the saw is, as I say, very sharp and it is best kept in the holster when not being used. And the holster actually hangs well on the hip and is very smooth on the draw, so I wear it quite a lot. And I am improving my draw and cutting speed each day as well. ## Features - Folding pruning saw for convenient storage and easy carrying - Comfortable non slip handle - High quality steel blade - Saw cuts on the pull stroke - Replacement blades available ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B000IAZDAO | | Best Sellers Rank | 210,985 in DIY & Tools ( See Top 100 in DIY & Tools ) 16 in Folding Saws | | Blade Length | 6 Inches | | Blade Material | Steel with Chromium coating | | Blade Shape | concave | | Blade material | Steel with Chromium coating | | Brand | Felco | | Colour | Red | | Country of Origin | USA | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 1,826 Reviews | | Cutting Angle | 45 Degrees | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00783929100265, 08838109084100 | | Handle Material | Plastic | | Included Components | Bare Tool | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 10.2L x 6.3W x 4.7H centimetres | | Item Type Name | Pruning Saw | | Item Weight | 6.4 Ounces | | Manufacturer | Felco | | Model Number | 600 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Number of Teeth | 6 | | Other Special Features of the Product | Folding, Rust-resistant, Ergonomic Handle, Prevent Clogging and Binding | | Part Number | F-600 | | Power source | Manual | | Special feature | Folding, Rust-resistant, Ergonomic Handle, Prevent Clogging and Binding | | Specification Met | True | | Speed | 4500 RPM | | Surface Recommendation | Wood | | Surface recommendation | Wood | | UPC | 637230247075 827165692846 637262168386 783929100265 | ## Product Details - **Blade material:** Steel with Chromium coating - **Brand:** Felco - **Colour:** Red - **Power source:** Manual - **Surface recommendation:** Wood ## Images ![Felco Folding Saw Model 600 Cuts on Pull Stroke Comfortable Non Slip Handle 120mm Cut - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41-g6H3A6vL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Is it Swiss made?** A: It is not Swiss made. It is from S. Korea. When new it looks pretty feeble (for example the locking system seemed to loose), but once I started to use it, got a little bit of tree sap and saw dust and it improved!! So far I have been able to cut with no problem 3´to 4´branches. **Q: For those that have the this saw, when you received it was the saw teeth burnt black? And if it was did it become dull fast while useing it?** A: No - my saw teeth were in good condition when I got it and it has not dulled since being used. I used occasionally not heavy use. My complaint is that the saw does not stay folded (i.e. the fold lock does not seem to work). This is annoying since the saw constantly opens in my pocket while I am working in yard. It is a good saw otherwise. I would like to send back because of the fold opening issue but I tend to not return products. **Q: It'll be 2 years come March that i bought this saw and i use it today and it can barely cut a 2 inch branch. Can i get a replacement blade ?** A: yes - but actually for an extra dollar or two you can purchase a whole new saw. For the replacement blasé check the Felco website. **Q: I don't see a replacement blade for this saw. Is there any such thing?** A: Yes, there is. My gardener snapped the blade on my brand new Felco saw by twisting it while removing an ancient oleander and it's roots. I got the spare blade from Felco, got it inserted and was able to close it once. Now I can't get it to fold no matter what I do. Looking for a scabbard but so far no luck. Probably should have just bought an entire new saw, but that seemed wasteful. It's a great tool otherwise. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quality gardening gear *by T***O on 27 June 2026* Great bit of gardening kit. Sharp, light, easy to handle. They have a good strong blade, which keeps it's edge well. I know some people have complained about the blade bending. This is not a fault with the saw, I'm afraid it is down to poor technique. Let me explain; this is a double toothed draw saw, which means it cuts on the "pull" stroke, it will also tend to pull itself into the cut. So you only need a very light downward pressure on the "pull" stroke and none at all on the "push" stroke. (people who have used wood saws a lot tend to have trouble as those work the other way round). I have absolutely no trouble cutting branches up to about 4 inches diameter with this saw, above that I tend to use a chainsaw 'cos I'm lazy. ## Frequently Bought Together - Felco Folding Saw (F 600) - Classic Tree Pruning Saw with Pull-Stroke Action, Red - FELCO F-2 068780 Classic Manual Hand Pruner, F 2, Red - FELCO FELCO322 Model 322 Snips, Red --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/51470943-felco-folding-saw-model-600-cuts-on-pull-stroke-comfortable](https://www.desertcart.no/products/51470943-felco-folding-saw-model-600-cuts-on-pull-stroke-comfortable) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-15*
