I use them to keep my sweatpants tight, so shoelaces should be fine. **Q: What size are the holes in the double-holed unit?** A: The holes in the double-holed unit are 3/16th in diameter. **Q: can these be used with 1.2mm elastic bracelet cord?** A: The package comes with a variety of sizes, most of which can accommodate a 1.2 mm cord of any type. The issue with an elastic cord is that it narrows when stretched and that makes it easier to pull out of the fastener. The produce package is a bargain and not a great investment to try. Just keep in mind that stretching the cord significantly is the potential issue. I use these to avoid double tying shoe laces - I just put a lace loop through the fastener and pull tight against the shoe. Works great. ## Frequently Bought Together - ZUSHALLMY 48pcs Upgraded Plastic Cord Lock, Cord Locks - Draw String Clip with Spring Toggle Stoppers Buttons for Drawstrings, Shoelaces, Paracord - MiniRed 8PCS Drawstring Cord, Replacement Drawstring for Sweatpants, 57 Inch Drawstrings Replacement with Easy Threaders, Draw Strings for Shorts Pants Jackets Coats Hoodies (Black, White) - 30 Pcs 66 Inches XL Lengthened Drawstring Cords Replacement Drawstring Hoodie String Replacement Clothing with 2 Pcs Flexible Easy Threaders for Sweatpants Hoodies Pants Jackets Coats --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/514259891-48pcs-upgraded-plastic-cord-lock-cord-locks-draw-string-clip](https://www.desertcart.no/products/514259891-48pcs-upgraded-plastic-cord-lock-cord-locks-draw-string-clip) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-21*
