instead of white double sided strips i received yellow single sided strips please explain?

Never going to see them again so dose this matter as long as they firmly hold the grip in place

how come the strips i received are yellow instead of white as shown and are single sided sticky?

Colour makes no difference as when they are gripped you won’t see them the white you are seeing is the outer layer of the peel of tape

is this item double sided stickey or do i need glue

Double sided peel backing tape from one stick to shaft now peel other side and pour white sports all over the tape and some inside the grip slide the grip over shaft and line up let dri all done easy peasy hope this helps

Fitting - Is the tape just sticky on one side. IE Once stuck to the club there is nothing else to peel off?

Tape is sticky both sides. Remove the old grip from club, wipe down with white spirit and dry. Wrap the new tape around the club and remove the backing. Then take the new grip, stopper the hole at top with wooden tee, pour in white spirit and try and push it over the tape end of club. The white spirit helps the new grip slide into place. Tip out the excess white spirit and allow the grip and tape to dry. Suggest you look at a video online, plenty of them there.
