It took me less than 5 minutes. As long as your car has physical vents like it shows in the picture, it will work. For example, it will NOT work in a Tesla where you cannot tough the actual vent and therefore cannot attach it to it :) The way the arm with the hook attaches then tightens works really well and makes me 100% sure that it will not fall or come loose which is important when you are driving since you don't want something falling and causing you to lose control. It also stays exactly the way you want it turned/facing since you can tighten it that way. If you want it to be able to move a little each time you get in, you can tighten it a little less and it is still tight enough so that it won't be moving around while you are driving. The sides open super wide so you can easily and quickly put any size phone in it and close the "arms" around it and get going.
