BlissLights Velarus

I've tried a couple of these galaxy/nebula projectors and the Velarus is my favorite. The pattern is reminiscent of ripples on water and is very unique. I also like the rainbow of colors it is able to produce. I don't like the fake laser stars a lot of these projectors include so I'm happy this one doesn't have that feature. A brief summary of the projectors I've tried: BlissLights Velarus (this item) - Adjustable angle, vivid colors, memorizing wave/water ripple-like pattern, great iOS app, relatively quiet motor. Bottom line: My favorite projector with the only weakness being the audible motor BlissLights Sky Lite Evolve - Adjustable angle, colors not as vivid as the Velarus, pleasing nebula/cloud-like pattern, great iOS app, relatively quiet motor. Bottom line: Excellent option if you want laser stars ENBRIGHTEN Aurora Crystal-Ball Galaxy Projector - Fixed projection angle, vivid colors, memorizing wave/water ripple-like pattern, no app control, super quiet motor. Bottom line: Almost silent and very reasonably priced; would be perfect if the projection angle could be adjusted Govee Star Light Projector - Adjustable angle, vivid colors, memorizing wave/water ripple-like pattern, good iOS app, relatively loud motors. Bottom line: Overly expensive, large, bulky & loud; I didn't keep this one

Yes! This projector is a great new entry to the Blisslights lineup. The lens is big and covers a lot more surface projection area, and looks amazing by itself or layered with another projector like the Evolve with a unique light pattern of wispy, ribbony auroras in multiple colors. App control is as easy as ever and if you already own a Blisslights Evolve it uses the same app so you can control all your lights without skipping a beat with all the customization features. It also adds a color I was sorely missing from the Evolve line, green, so it complements Evolve well if you want a more rainbow/multicolor look. I don't know if it's typical of all lights of this model but the one I got makes a very faint buzzing noise. My Evolve is feather quiet, but my Velarus makes a small noise. It's easy to ignore especially if you put music on but I thought I would mention it to anyone with any noise sensitivities to be aware of. Overall I think this light is great and feels solidly made at a reasonable price point, if you want an aurora effect in your home with customizable colors/speeds/etc you can't go wrong with this one! I use my lights every day.

I bought these since I have a stationary bike in my basement and wanted to replicate the lights they had at my local cycling studio. It's very cute and the colors are almost infinite, you can customize your colors in the app. Just keep in mind that while you're changing the color on your app, the light will not change color until you have taken your finger off your screen. This light does not have any lasers for "stars".

I have been hearing about these Blisslights for a while now so I finally decided to give in and try one out. Let me tell you, I wish I would've gotten one a lot sooner these things are amazing! Upon opening it for the first time you can immediately see how high the quality is, unlike some of the other ones you see out there. The light takes up almost the entire ceiling in my living room and has a really nice pattern with smooth movement. The colors from the bulb are crisp and vibrant with endless options through the app. The light sits in a concave stand that lets you point it in any direction you want to with minimal effort. I am the first to be wary of apps I don't know, but after months of use there has been zero reasons to have issues with trusting them. All in all, I have been completely impressed with this light and fully recommend it to anyone out there looking for a nice relaxing addition to their house!!!

Love. You do need wifi to change the colors though! This held me back for almost a year.

I opened the box, plugged it in, and it emits a kaleidoscope of all different colors. To get the settings I want, and change the colors, I have to use the app and connect the device to my wireless internet. Unfortunately, it will not connect to a simple wireless internet connection. There are instructions on the app to change the wireless router settings to allow it to connect, yet the instructions are totally useless and don't even make any sense. BUYER BEWARE, if you don't want to be stuck in App Hell, avoid this product. The app has 1.8 out of 5 stars on the Google Play Store. That's because it is garbage. Maybe if I could ever use the app I would know that for myself. But since my Bliss Light won't even connect to my very-easy-to-connect-to and very strong and powerful wi-fi signal, what's the point of even having the app?

It’s a good little unit it does what it claims to do but I was hoping for something a bit more than what I’ve seen in similar units. The external interface control, capabilities are nice, but not necessarily a must have. If you buy through Amazon, the price is a good value for the money. If you buy directly from the source company, you’ll be paying shipping costs.

What a blissful awe inducing experience it provides. Great company- high quality.

Jolie, mais ne dur pas le temps.

It's different to the usual projectors, which I think makes it better. The pattern it produces is very attractive. It has no lasers, laser dots are supposed to be stars, but I don't feel they're convincing. So this doesn't lose anything by not having that ability. You can turn the motion off, I find it turns too fast and cannot be slowed down, its only drawback really. That said, I'm happy.

The lights arrived quickly. Looks just like the product pictures. They do so much to change the look of a room with so little. The app nice since you can schedule when they turn on and off and change the colors. You can even create your own theme. Similar experience with evolve. Great value considering similar lights can cost even more. Recommended

This item is great to give a calming atmosphere to help with anyone struggling with sleep issues.

Looks nice, but moves fast, with no speed control.
