## Overview

The Cree XLamp XP-E2 Royal-Blue LED delivers an industry-leading 88% brightness increase over comparable high-power color LEDs, emitting a precise 450nm royal blue light. Engineered with Cree’s advanced SC3 silicon-carbide technology, it supports a max drive current of 1000mA and is fully compatible with Carclo 20mm optics, enabling customizable light patterns for professional-grade architectural, vehicle, and display lighting applications.

## Description

Now find your Cree XLamp XP-E2 LEDs in a variety of colors. The XP-E2 uses Cree's SC3 (silicon-carbide) technology to boost output over the original XP-E diode. This performance boost makes the XP-E2's color output 88% brighter than alternative high-power color LEDs. Now lighting manufacturers are able to design for a wider range of applications more cost effectively. These XP-E2 color LEDs can be seen in architectural, vehicle and display lighting. Both versions (1-Up & 3-Up) of the color XP-E2 are designed to work with secondary optics from Carclo; Carclo is a leader in molded poly-carbonate lens systems. The 1-Up secondary lens system combines a plastic holder and lens that sits on top of the 1-Up MCPCB, while the 3-Up optic is a one-piece system with three legs that sit down into corresponding holes on the 3-Up MCPCB. These secondary optics focus light into narrow, medium, wide and elliptical patterns. More information is available on optics that mate with the XP-E2 LED on this page under the 'Accessories' tab above.
