Stainless Steel Fingernail

These are excellent. Previously used Tweezerman, which were my go-to clippers. The build quality is excellent. There is no ‘bounce’ to the cut. They are orecise and super sharp. Really good value

I've tried quite a few clippers from simple cheap ones that come in Christmas crackers to Tweezerman. I'll include some comparisons here. I tried some 'Solingen' ones from Amazon - they were rubbish and I expect were fake - certainly no where near the quality of steel in my other Solingen razors, scissors and nail files. Champneys from Boots were quite sharp, and kept their sharpness for a while. Seki are way sharper and easier to use. The Champney had a lot of give in the handle which meant they didn't always cut cleanly. Tweezerman were good, but lost their edge too quickly. Like the Champney clippers, the handle also had some bounce so the cut wasn't always perfect. Conclusion: The Seki Edge are super sharp, and there is no give in the handle meaning they cut very cleanly. The attention to detail on these clippers is excellent - for example the handle is riveted into the pin meaning they don't fall apart when you squeeze them. The Champney and Tweezerman really feel like better variations on the cheap Christmas cracker clippers, the Seki Edge are very different to that - high quality finish, better blade alignment, different metals used to avoid flex. They're not cheap, but they are definitely worth the extra.

I did a lot of research on this subject and this brand came out on top.At my age , i do not want any accidents , so this clipper is perfect , so far no problems.Well built and easy to use.

And it was worth every penny. I have thick nails. For years I used cheap clippers bought in a chemist or supermarket. I never gave them much thought. Then these were recommended to me. I almost fell over at the price but persuaded by the reviews and also my frustration at having hacked off nails from cheap clippers l bought these. They are excellent. Razor sharp and high quality. They cut very very cleanly. No more hacked-off fingernails. They leave a neat and tidy job. I am very happy with them. They were expensive but high quality and will last years. 5 stars.

Only dislike is that the mechanism is very sticky ! Had to reduce star Rating unfortunately UPDATE although these are very good clippers I was very disappointed tonight when I was half way through cutting my nails and the pin broke at the bottom and the mechanism fell right out ! So its left me with half cut nails ! Not good. Over the last couple weeks the clippers have got extra sticky so tiny drop of oil added but alas they broke at the worst time.

I already have the Seki Edge toenail clippers which are great so I wanted the version for fingernails. These are great for me as I have small hands but may not work so well for someone with larger hands. I have very weak nails but the sharpness and precision of the cutting blade means that the nails are sealed and I'm already seeing the strength and general health of the nail improving. The only downside for me is that the toenail clippers I purchased previously catch the clipped nails for easy disposal, this version of the nail clippers doesn't. This is just a convenience point and doesn't impact the exceptional quality of the product. I suspect I'll have these for many years making them very good value for money.

Great item

These are a superb product. I purchased these in 2020 (it's now 2025) and they are still as good as new and cut perfectly. I'm so glad I pushed the boat out to finally buy something of quality for this mundane task. Highly recommended, would buy again without hesitation.

Very good

Ja. Aber er ist auch das Geld wert.

Yes! It did a better job.

The sharpness of the cutter is good, has always cut well and was very easy to use. The problem with it however, is that after a month and a half of near daily use, the bottom of the pin that holds the arm to the cutter part just disintegrated. It seems to me like a pretty massive design fault that the metal part that is in constant contact with another piece of metal is made so thin, that just by the rotation back and forth of the arm from the cutting position to the default position, it will wear out completely within maybe a few hundred uses. I suppose it could be a manufacturing issue of some kind, but for the price I paid (25 euros!), I expected it to last me at the very least a year.

Il coupe a merveille j en suis ravi
