Bluetooth connections will work on smart phones and laptops but not standard bluetooth headphones as you are unable to select the link. You could use headphones with nfc and connect by tapping at the nfc point. **Q: what are the dimensions of the control unit. see the size on the description but i think this includes the speakers** A: Not sure what you mean by the "control unit". The CD/Radio module is 20cm wide, 22cm deep & 12cm high. The remote control unit is 15 by 4.5 by 1cm. Returned for a refund. ### ⭐⭐⭐ I received the Model MCB1515D instead of the MCB1536D-05. *by S***E on 12 January 2018* I bought this as a Christmas present, mainly as it had some EQ options with the bass and treble as well as an Aux-in. Like many others who have bought it, I was sent a downgraded version, the MCB1515D. It has all the exact same features minus the bass and treble controls, also, it has 10W speakers instead of the 30W speakers shown in the product images. Amazon could not replace the unit for the correct one as it's from a 3rd party seller, but they did give me a 20 pound gift card for the inconvenience. Great customer service from Amazon once again! I could've also refunded and sent the item back but didn't bother. All the features work well, but the speakers are pretty poor. I had to buy some new speakers to put into the unit and this made a big difference. It has a power saving feature which is annoying for me, it will go into standby after 15 mins if no sound is coming through. Far too short.
