Review: convenient and tastey sugar substitute. - This has no after tase, has the same texture as real sugar and only 9 calories per packet. I was paying $8.99 at local healthfood store and now can't get it. Found it here at $12.50 per box, but I still think it's worth it. Review: BEST Sweetener EVER!! No GMO's! - Yes - I LOVE this "sugar"~ Not many people know about this sweetener. I happened to discover it through a magazine article talking about "Healthy" substitutions for sugar. The article mentions how Xylitrol is now one of the ONLY all natural sweeteners on the market. MUCH better for you than the toxic Aspartame (never touch that stuff!!). Xylo Sweet is GMO and Gluten FREE made from the natural sugars in corn! These little packets are not calorie free but...they have very few in each packet. 9.6 calories and NO Carbs! It's on the sweetener list for Diabetics so you know it's a safe product. I not only order these packets (I take them to restaurants to sweeten my drink) but I get the 5 lb. package as well to use for cooking. The sugar is crystallized just like real sugar and you use spoon for spoon or cup for cup on the measure. The BEST thing about this sweetener is NO AFTERTASTE!!! Now, it's the ONLY sweetener I will use. ## Features - GREAT TASTE: Unlike other sugar substitutes, xylitol has no after-taste and can be used in most recipes that call for sugar in equal portions without making any additional adjustments. - GREAT TASTE: Unlike other sugar substitutes xylitol has no after-taste and can be used in most recipes that call for sugar in equal portions without making any additional adjustments ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00HEP7EDK | | Best Sellers Rank | #89,025 in Grocery ( See Top 100 in Grocery ) #265 in Pudding & Dessert Mixes | | Brand | Xlear | | Brand Name | Xlear | | Container Type | Sachet | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 159 Reviews | | Diet Type | Keto | | Diet type | Keto | | Item Package Weight | 1.04 Kilograms | | Item Weight | 0.01 Ounces | | Item weight | 0.01 Ounces | | Model Number | LEPUSMRYC16598 | | Number of Pieces | 200 | | Package information | Sachet | | Package weight | 1.04 Kilograms | | Part Number | XYSP 100 CT | | Specialty | Gluten Free | | UPC | 765857719320 | | Unit Count | 200 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Xlear - **Diet type:** Keto - **Item weight:** 0.01 Ounces - **Package weight:** 1.04 Kilograms - **Specialty:** Gluten Free ## Images ![Xlear Xylosweet Packets, 100-Count (Pack of 2) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/8107uzNDPWL.jpg) ![Xlear Xylosweet Packets, 100-Count (Pack of 2) - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81lkN-SnHqL.jpg) ![Xlear Xylosweet Packets, 100-Count (Pack of 2) - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71B2rpad4xL.jpg) ![Xlear Xylosweet Packets, 100-Count (Pack of 2) - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71es6sVFJ9L.jpg) ![Xlear Xylosweet Packets, 100-Count (Pack of 2) - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81x4Ub-PKhL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: What country does this xylitol come from?** A: This brand is made in China. There are other brands that are made in USA, which usually has a $10-$15 premium on the China made brands for a 5 lb bag. Here's a list of xylitol products made in the USA (with exception of one, made in Finland):Durelife xylitolmanufactured and packaged in the USA from 100% pure USA birchHealth Garden Xylitol100% birch xylitol made in USAMorning Pep Xylitol100% pure birch sweetener made in USAReal Birch xylitol100% USA-made from sustainably harvested birch treesSmart Sweetfrom organic hardwood, not corn - GMO free, USAUSA Birch Xylitol made from 100% North American birchXylobrit™"predominantly from Finnish Beech and Birch hardwood"Xyla™derived from 100% North American hardwoodZveet BirchXylitol made in USASource: http://www.healingteethnaturally.com/buying-best-non-gmo-xylitol-sugar.html **Q: What is the source for this, corn or birch? Where was this manufactured?** A: I am allergic to corn and was using this For my teeth. At first it was ok and my teeth were looking better but after a while my lips started to get dry and burn when I swished it. My tongue started getting sores and my face would itch . I don’t recommend xylitol from corn if you are allergic even if the manufacturer says it won’t cause an allergic reaction. **Q: What country is this produced in?** A: Raw materials definitely from China (I asked Xlear Customer Service); just the packaging is done in USA **Q: Is this a 5 pound bag or a 3.4 pound bag? The 5 pounds is how it is labeled to be sold?** A: This question of weight is coming up because under the Product Description: Amazon has the Shipping Weight as only 3.4 pounds. That is just incorrect and they need to fix that. Everything else says it's a 5 lb package. "Product Dimensions: 7.2 x 3.5 x 11.5 inches ; 5.2 poundsShipping Weight: 3.4 pounds" ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ convenient and tastey sugar substitute. *by A***E on 16 September 2025* This has no after tase, has the same texture as real sugar and only 9 calories per packet. It tastes good and is good for your teeth. When the bacteria that cause plaque absorb xylitol (mistaking it for sucrose), they can't multiply, produce acids, or stick to teeth. They essentially starve to death, leaving your mouth full of healthier bacteria. Xylitol also makes you mouth more alkaline, and encourages the production of saliva. To test this, pour a packet of xylitol granules into your mouth and chew it around a little. In a minute or two, your mouth will be full of saliva. Used this way, xylitol can protect and remineralize your teeth. (Just pour some granules in your mouth, wait for your mouth to fill with saliva, then use the saliva like a mouthwash to keep your teeth sparkling clean and reduce plaque.) ## Frequently Bought Together - Xlear XyloSweet Plant Sourced Xylitol Sweetener - Pure Natural Sugar Substitute, Granules, Non-GMO, Gluten-Free, 100 Packets (Pack of 2) - PUR Gum | Aspartame Free Chewing Gum | 100% Xylitol | Natural Bubblegum Flavored Gum, 55 Pieces (Pack of 3) - Zellie's | 100% Xylitol Sugar Free Cool Fruit Mints Breath Mints | Non-GMO, Low-Calorie, Gluten Free, Vegan & Kosher Mints (250 Count - Pack of 1) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/510882126-xlear-xylosweet-packets-100-count-pack-of-2](https://www.desertcart.no/products/510882126-xlear-xylosweet-packets-100-count-pack-of-2) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-11-07*
