I had been trying to get Ferns Madras paste but it was 'unavailable' and this Hot Paste came up as an alternative option. Very similiar to the Madras paste this Hot paste has a rich flavour and "use" the advised amounts - 3 teaspoons - in your dish. Best to start with a small amount because you can always add more to your personal taste. It is hot but not that unpleasant bitter curry taste you sometimes get in other brands and gives a authentic taste to your home made curries. This paste can be used with all meats and vegetables and is a great spice to add to all your Asian dishes you cook at home. It has been getting more difficult in my area to purchase this brand but now I can get it online it's great. I had been trying to get Ferns Madras paste but it was 'unavailable' and this Hot Paste came up as an alternative option.
