I have multiple components hooked up to my Sonos soundbar using this switch. **Q: Does the device add any noticeable lag or delay in the sound?** A: No, not as far as I could tell. It's hard to imagine how it could since I think it's just a circuit that gets switched to whatever input you are using. **Q: I have the spdif 4x2 and it does not seem to automatically switch to the input giving signal. i can only manually switch. am i doing something wrong?** A: This unit does not have any automatic input/output switching. However, with the remote you can easily switch inputs and outputs without being in close proximity. **Q: Is the picture shown for the 4x2 correct because the J-Tech website doesn't show a product with this picture. It has a different 4x2 product picture.** A: No the picture is wrong, and in fact is different to the one that was on the product when i purchased. Its White, a bit thicker that that, but shorter length wise. One HDMI in, one HDMI out, One mini USB power in, one 3.5mm audio jack out. Comes with 3.5mm to RCA female cable (L+R) and also USB to mini USB power. ## Frequently Bought Together - Portta APET0402TP Premium Quality SPDIF TOSLINK Digital Optical Audio 4x2 Matrix - KabelDirekt TOSLINK – Optical Audio Cable – 35ft – Fiber Optic Cord, S/PDIF Digital Audio Optical Cable for Soundbar, Stereo Systems, Home Cinema, Xbox One/PS4 – Designed in Germany - Amazon Basics Toslink Digital Optical Audio Cable, Multi-Channel, for Audio System, Sound Bar, Home Theatre, Gold-Plated Connectors, 6 Foot, Black --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/508295714-j-tech-digital-premium-quality-spdif-toslink-digital-optical-audio](https://www.desertcart.no/products/508295714-j-tech-digital-premium-quality-spdif-toslink-digital-optical-audio) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-18*
