Do you have the shorter version?** A: Note that the lower section of this unit is detachable. It is the same as the base from which you twisted out the original unit, which should already be fixed into the bottom of your cistern. If you twist off this bottom section of your new unit, you will find that the rest of it fits into the base you probably already have, simply placing it in and twisting anticlockwise. You can keep base the part and its washer and seal as spares, but this is the section that the plumber usually fits to the cistern base on installation. **Q: Can I use this to replace the old rod version? One of the rods has snapped so I need new buttons as well..** A: Push rods and Chrome effect buttons are bought separately I believe.
