The ladder had caused the carpet to be deeply dented and the rust very ingrained. I have tried a few products to get rid of the stains but nothing worked. This stain remover has removed 95% of the marks after only two light applications. I sprayed the liquid on the stain, left for 5 minutes and scrubbed with a stiff nail brush, this removed most of the mark and a second application a bit more. I think if the carpet had not been so dented it would have all come out and it looks a lot better than it did before using. Easy to use bottle. Good amount of product, the 500ml sized bottle should last a very long time for spot cleaning. I have since used this to clean other marks on my carpets and it has got them completely out. I have not had any problems with it damaging the fabrics or colour, but I used as per the instructions on the bottle and did a spot test first. I am very impressed with this product and would recommend. Price at time of purchase was more than reasonable. ## Frequently Bought Together - HG Stain Remover Extra Strong, Carpet Cleaner Spray & Upholstery Cleaner by HG Cleaning Products, Removes Deely Ingrained Marks, Effective for Most Types of Fabrics - 500ml (144050106) - Dr. Beckmann Carpet Stain Remover | Works in 3 mins | 650 ml - Dr. Beckmann Upholstery Stain Remover | Removes stubborn stains from sofas, car seats etc | 400ml --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/50722497-hg-stain-remover-extra-strong-spray-with-active-oxygen-500ml](https://www.desertcart.no/products/50722497-hg-stain-remover-extra-strong-spray-with-active-oxygen-500ml) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-18*
