I don't want to fry camera** A: If your camera's 4 D-cell batteries are connected in series, then it requires 6 volts to power it (1.5v x 4 batteries = 6 volts), so you would need to connect a 12 volt to 6 volt step down power converter such as Amazon's ASIN: B00CGQRIFG. **Q: Is the dc adapter plug 5mm x 2.1mm (adaptaplug size K)?** A: Yes, it's a 5.5mm x 2.1mm plug. **Q: how do you know when the battery is fully charged ?** A: When you plug it into the wall there is a little red light next to where you connect the charging cable to. When the light is out it's fully charger. **Q: I have a bunch of different brand camera including stealth, wondering if this connector will fit in different 12v camera brands ?** A: As long as the camera is 12v, then yes. I believe mine came with an adaptor to be used with Browing cameras. Most trail cams use the same 2.1mm x 5.5mm plug. ## Frequently Bought Together - HME Trail Camera 12V/Solar Auxiliary Power Pack Durable Weather-Resistant Housing Easy Installation & Versatile Compatibility, Black - Moultrie Edge 2 Pro Cellular Trail Camera - Auto Connect Nationwide 4G LTE - On Demand 40MP Photo - 1440P Video with HD Audio - Ai False Trigger Elimination - 100 Ft Detection Range - No-Glow Flash - HME Economy Trail Camera Holder with 360-Degree Camera Head Compact Sturdy Design Easy Installation Versatile Compatibility --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/50703247-stealth-cam-trail-camera-12v-solar-auxiliary-power-pack](https://www.desertcart.no/products/50703247-stealth-cam-trail-camera-12v-solar-auxiliary-power-pack) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-11-05*
