Review: Removed permanent auto tape from card body work - I bought this wheel to remove the double-sided tape that was left behind when I removed the plastic body trim that was beginning to come away from the car doors. I was a little skeptical as I hadn't used one of these before. Some of the adhesive tape just peeled away but the majority of the tape was left behind on the car panel. I did try removing this with a fingernail but didn't get anywhere fast and then used this wheel. I put the wheel in a battery Dewalt drill and gradually increased the speed, initially it worked ok but once the wheel was a little roughened it easily remove the residual adhesive tape without damaging the underlying paintwork.
