Review: Great for keeping interfering hands off - I have converted the living room to Smart bulbs and I don't want people switching their power off so I have replaced the original light switch with this. I can use it to turn off the bulbs for maintenance or to reset them.

**Q: Does the key have to remain in the switch to keep it in the 'On' position?**
A: key can be taken out, it is only for testing

**Q: How deep is the face of this switch from the wall? And what depth backbox is required? Thanks.**
A: It’s about 5mm proud of the wall. It will fit into a 25mm back box as that’s what I have in my stud walls.

**Q: How do you wire this as a single lightswitch? there's l1 l2 on the top and l1 l2 on the bottom.**
A: There is a common and an L1 and an L2.

**Q: Does this switch or an alternative, work with a duel light switch? please advise**
A: This switch removes the permanent live from the emergency light to make sure the battery circuit is operating the light. It does not interfere with the normal switching of  the fitting as the switch live is operated from the lighting circuit(2 way) not the permanent live (test switch), hope this helps?
