Sharps Bin 1 litre - Yellow

Good size, well-built and safe sharps disposal bin. I'm using it for razor blades and scalpel blades, but it will function well for needle disposal if that's your use case. I've filled mine up already as I had a back-log of used craft/razor blades... Once it's closed, it's really well closed and no risk of opening and spilling sharps anywhere - well designed closure. Good size and portable, if that's a requirement for you.

This is a good-quality sharps bin at a great price. The 1L size is perfect for pen injector needles, and it’s compact, making it easy to store. It feels strong and secure, so I’m confident in its durability. The only issue is that there isn’t a clear warning about not closing the lid until it’s full. My wife thought it could be reopened after storing it away, but once it’s locked, it stays locked. Overall, it does exactly what it’s supposed to, just be mindful of the lid when closing it.

Ok so need to amend this review! Basically my husband did not read the instructions and permanently shut the lid. This is what it is designed to do! Do not fully lock the lid until you wish to dispose of the bin.Purchased this to take on holiday for sharps, but after the first use the lid got stuck and couldn’t be opened so was a waste taking it as had to source another with wasn’t ideal!

exactly what i needed

This item isn't suitable as a secure sharpes box. The second hole is way to big with loose needle tips able to come out of the massive hole on one side. It's so big I can almost fit my hand in. A sharpes box should only allow entry and not allow items to exit. Other sharpes boxes I've had of a similar design always had a kind of fringed cover around/over the hole so you could get syringes in but not out again.I'm really hoping it will securely close when it's finished with.
