Such a beautiful little figure I brought this as a gift for my mother in law who loves books and it's beautifully crafted out and sturdy, not to big not to small either

Beautiful figurine. I enjoy reading my books so thought this was very fitting for me in my book corner. Willow tree figures are always built to a very good standard, came in a box with polystyrene so was very well protected. As you can see it is one of the smaller figurines which again for me is perfect for the area it is living.

I love the Willow Tree figurines and this one depicting LOVE OF LEARNING on is no exception. It is just as the photograph shows and is the perfect gift for a loved one starting college or university. Every time they look at it it will remind them not only of the reason they are where they there, but also of you. Mine arrived beautifully packaged with a little name card, a perfect gift for my Granddaughter 😘

I bought this from my child for her lovely teacher as an end of year present. It was perfect as it is the love of learning one which was appreciated greatly. Comes in a lovely box with a message on and a note inside. Wrapped adequately and safely and looks great.

L'oggetto è incantevole, non riuscivo a smettere di rigirarmelo fra le mani per guardarlo meglio, curatissimo nei dettagli, esprime veramente tutto l'amore per la lettura; inoltre è prezioso nella mia libreria dove avevo già un'altra statuina Willow Tree. Da sottolineare che viene consegnato in una confezione meravigliosa, quindi anche da lì si vede la passione e la cura. Lo adoro.

Wir sammeln seit längerer Zeit Willow Tree Figuren und verschenken sie auch sehr gerne. Entsprechend kenne ich inzwischen verschiedene Figuren der Serie und schätze besonders ihre gleichbleibend wertige Verarbeitung. Auch „Love of Learning“ macht hier keine Ausnahme. Die Figur hat ein angenehmes Gewicht, steht sehr sicher und wirkt überhaupt nicht wie eine leichte Dekorationsfigur, die bei jeder Berührung umkippt. Verarbeitung und Farbgebung sind bei unserem Exemplar einwandfrei. Besonders liebe ich an Willow Tree allerdings die Gestaltung der Menschen. Die Gesichter sind nur angedeutet und trotzdem – oder für mich gerade deshalb – transportieren die Figuren erstaunlich viel. Körperhaltung und Gestik der Figur erzählen eigentlich alles, ohne dafür einen konkreten Gesichtsausdruck zu benötigen. Dadurch bleibt für mich viel mehr Raum, sich selbst oder einen bestimmten Menschen in einer Figur wiederzufinden. Gerade wenn man mit Willow Tree eine Familie oder bestimmte Beziehungen und Lebensabschnitte darstellen möchte, funktioniert das wunderbar. Auch diese Figur fügt sich sehr schön in unsere Sammlung ein. Hochwertig verarbeitet, ausdrucksstark und genau mit dieser zurückhaltenden Gestaltung, wegen der ich Willow Tree so gerne mag.
