Interesting and informative

Very easy and informative read
This was a big help for a novice person - helped me understand the needs of my specific horse. Goes into enough detail to give you an understanding. My horse had fecal water issues and after reading this I got her on an informed feed regiment and the fecal water problem is solved.

Whole Food for Horses is a fantastic resource!
This thin little easy-to-read book was amazingly detailed and thorough! It didn't talk down to you, but it did go into sufficient detail in a readable way so that any lay-person could understand it and have great nutritional take-aways. I would HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone interested in providing a whole food diet for their horse. Plus, an extra bonus - I'm now far more aware of what I eat as well!

Awesome!
A must-read for horse owners! I live in swfl, and I wish I would have come across this book when I first started owning and caring for horses. It would have been helpful with all the issues my horses have developed over the years from EMP to anhidrosis, but now I know and have used some of the information within the pages. Thank you, Tigger!

Your horse needs you to read this book!
A must read for everyone who owns a horse. This wonderful book outlays the nutritional needs of horses and how to provide natural sources for optimum utilization. For anyone looking to get your horse off of the processed food wagon, this book is indispensable and something you will reference over and over.

A must read for every horse owner and manager!
This book takes the horse lover and owner into the real problems with feeding today and shows a clear way to improve the health of horses. Easy to understand and an entertaining read that will open your eyes to industrial practices and challenges to horse owners. A must read for every horse owner.

Meh
I thought this book was going to be much more informative than it was. It only offered a few diet plans and didn't go into the caloric or other nutritional values at all. For the price, I would not recommend this book.

Best book on horse nutrition
I read this book from cover to cover. The information is priceless. Tigger M. did her homework. Everything she presents is factual. Her research references are all by reputable people such as Stephanie Seneff etc. I just got my first Friesian horse and am so grateful for this information as now I know how to take "first class" care of my steed. Organic is the only way to go for our horses. I already feed my dogs and cats with chia seeds and spirulina and am happy I can do the same for my horse. Lots of information in this book. I highly recomend it.

Great book to start your whole food journey. Lots of research has been put into simple to understand, and apply, format.
