In this series, 13 months on, Swedish detective Saga Norén (Sofia Helin) travels to Copenhagen after a body is discovered on a building site. After her new partner is injured on the case, Saga is assigned to work with Danish detective Henrik Saboe (Thure Lindhardt). They discover the victim was the manager of a pioneering gender-neutral preschool and are led to right-wing lawyer Lise Frise Andersen (Sonja Richter) by her controversial blog posts. As the bodies pile up and Saga wrestles with the guilt of turning her former partner, it is revealed that all of the crime scenes are being arranged to look like famous pieces of art, which all happen to be owned by wealthy collector Freddie Holst (Nicolas Bro). Review: Don't miss this great drama - This series is even better than the previous two. In the beginning I missed Martin being in it, but actually things moved on quickly and his absence didn't detract from this series at all. The plot did become increasingly complicated as the series went on and it became a bit difficult to keep up with all the different characters (although a large number died in each episode!) and what their motives might have been for the murders. At the start of series 1 Saga seemed like such a strange character that it was hard to see how it was going to work - but as the story moved on across all three series, I found myself liking and understanding her more and more, and her personality (possibly autistic), became almost endearing - particularly after meeting the mother from hell. I would love there to be a fourth series, but I suspect there won't be one. This was a fantastic TV drama and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending it to anyone. Even the subtitles didn't detract from the story lines. Tack. Review: Exciting and fast paced as usual - I understood this series and the storylines more clearly now because this was the second time I had watched it. I missed Kim Bodnia at first because he had almost formed a professional relationship with Saga, but Henrik was an excellent replacement. We learnt more about Saga and her troubled background, and she and Henrik are a good team. As always, there are many twists and turns, and it was good to see Nicholas Bro in the series. He is a fine actor. Many viewers regard Saga as annoying and odd, and wonder about her position in the police force, but she is dogged, dedicated and intuitive. Her undiagnosed (?) Asperger's syndrome is very well portrayed. The series ended on a cliff hanger, so roll on series four! ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Contributor | Dag Malmberg, Daniel Adolfsson, Elliot Metzdorff, Hans Rosenfeldt, Lars Simonsen, Lotte Munk Fure, Maria Kulle, Nicolas Bro, Rafael Pettersson, Sarah Boberg, Sofia Helin, Sonja Richter, Thure Lindhardt Contributor Dag Malmberg, Daniel Adolfsson, Elliot Metzdorff, Hans Rosenfeldt, Lars Simonsen, Lotte Munk Fure, Maria Kulle, Nicolas Bro, Rafael Pettersson, Sarah Boberg, Sofia Helin, Sonja Richter, Thure Lindhardt See more | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 442 Reviews | | Format | PAL | | Genre | Crime, Drama | | Language | Danish, Swedish | | Manufacturer | Arrow Films | | Number of discs | 4 | | Publication date | 6 Aug. 2019 | | Runtime | 580 minutes | ## Product Details - **Format:** PAL - **Genre:** Crime, Drama - **Language:** Danish, Swedish - **Number of discs:** 4 ## Images ![The Bridge: Series 3 [DVD] - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81ua4ZKksJL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Don't miss this great drama *by C***S on 26 March 2016* This series is even better than the previous two. I remember at the end of last season how disappointing it was to wait for over a year for season three, but now it's here and it's as good as ever. Now that Martin's banged up, Saga gets a new Danish partner, who at first seems just like an older version of her, then things quickly start to disintegrate and the show picks up momentum from episode one. This series there's more information about Saga's past family life and as ever, you just want to give her a cuddle and tell her everything will be alright. The good news is that she's as blunt as ever in this series, in an utterly endearing and refreshing way. The other characters are of course secondary, but there's a lot going on in this series, with people coming out of the woodwork all over. Strangely, I started to get confused by the dark haired girls, as they started to look the same to me. And again, we have over another year until the next one, assuming there is one, but I'm sure it'll be worth the wait. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/49458862-the-bridge-series-3-dvd](https://www.desertcart.no/products/49458862-the-bridge-series-3-dvd) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
