They are UVC (USB Video Class) devices which use the default drivers in the operating system, which is how they achieve compatibility with a wide range of software. **Q: Can i use 2 cameras through this?** A: No. The one HDMI port is for input from your camera, the other one is a loop through which you can connect to a monitor to see what is going on. If you want to capture from 2 cameras simultaneously you would need 2 separate devices (the regular ones not the plus ones will do the job), or you could use the dual capture PCI card if you have a PC to put it in. **Q: would this also capture 1080p content? thanks** A: Yes, (and it'll also capture 720p and PAL/NTSC SD content over HDMI as well, if required). ## Frequently Bought Together - Magewell USB Capture HDMI 4K Plus - Magewell SDI USB Capture Plus --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/49436927-magewell-usb-capture-hdmi-4k-plus](https://www.desertcart.no/products/49436927-magewell-usb-capture-hdmi-4k-plus) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-11-02*
