Above that it counts down in minutes and seconds. It is easy to use and quite loud. I like the on/off switch on the side. **Q: Hello, mine doesn't ring at all. Even with new batteries. Has anyone encountered the same issue? Is there a way to fix this?** A: Mine rings perfectly. If you bought it in the past month I suggest contacting Amazon for a refund or a replacement. If you need help in finding how to contact Amazon UK send me a reply and I will explain how you can do it. Charlie **Q: Does it work as a stopwatch?** A: Not specifically as a stop watch, but if you set it to, say an hour, and then start it working, it will count down to zero. You then have to calculate the time difference. More complicated I know but useable for the odd occasion. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Timer *by B***R on 8 January 2026* Not had a timer for years, but now I need one I didn’t know what to choose. So glad I opted for this one, it’s so easy to use, large numbers I can see even without specs, it was excellently priced and an alarm that you can hear anywhere. What’s not to love, many thanks ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Super little timer clock / Thank You *by A***A on 28 December 2025* Excellent little timer, brought it mainly for show to sit on my Ikea pegboard in my kitchen but found myself using it instead of my phone to help with the cooking straight away, super super simple to operate, makes a loud alarm noises when the timer hits zero, can also be used a stopwatch so it can count both upwards in time and downwards ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great kitchen timer *by D***K on 18 September 2018* This is a great little kitchen timer. It's great that it has the magnet on the back, but I think the best feature, is that it has a count up, where when you start it on 0, it starts counting time elapsed. This lets me know how long I've been doing something. The buzzer was super shrill and very loud. I had to cover over the holes on the back with a couple pieces of masking tape, to quiet it down. So I think the person who said it was too quiet, must have been sent a unit with a faulty buzzer. The little plastic stand at the back is very flimsy, repeatedly moving the stand open and closed will cause it to fail eventually. But I leave the stand in the open position, and it's still working. Overall I'm very happy with it, the LCD screen has nice and big numbers, the minutes measure just under 3 cm, and the seconds measure 2.1 cm in height. It's not backlit, but I have no problem reading it in a dimly lit room, unlike my alarm clock LCD, where I have to move my head to be at the right angle. Quibbles about the flimsy stand aside, this is fantastic value for money, and I'd definitely buy the same one again if I need to. I've been using it multiple times a day for almost 6 months, and I'm still on the first battery, even though I leave it permanently switched on. Also the buttons are large, easy to press, and they just work. They feel similar to the rubber dome keys on most keyboards. I've not had a problem where I've pressed the button and it didn't register. And it's nice it only has 3 buttons, so it's not confusing to use. ## Frequently Bought Together - H&S Kitchen Timer Digital Cooking Timer - Magnetic Countdown Clock Large LCD Screen Loud Alarm - Digital Clock - Productivity Timer - Visual Timer - Kitchen Timers for Cooking - Timer for Kids - Antonki Timer, 2 Pack Timer for Kids, Kitchen Timers, Digital Timer for Cooking, Egg Timer, Classroom Timer for Teacher, Magnetic Countdown Timer for Exercise, Study, Oven - Battery Included --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/49329932-h-and-s-kitchen-timer-kitchen-timers-for-cooking-digital](https://www.desertcart.no/products/49329932-h-and-s-kitchen-timer-kitchen-timers-for-cooking-digital) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-27*
