The more speakers active, the lower the impedance, (ohms Law) and the more power needed from the amp According to Crutchfield, we need a 4 ohm stable amp, and the Denon family provides overload protection, and the Denon amps have a 8 ohm (default) and a4 ohm setting I already fried an Onkyo amp, running all the speakers at once, for an extended period. **Q: Ok, I bought the PT510 amplifier, and the PSPVC6 speaker selector, but not sure how to connect them together. Normally, once the amp is connected the 'sound' travels out of the red/white or left/right speaker connectors that are attached then to the speaker system.
