**Q: Is there a difference, other than color, between the Z24 (red top) & Z26 (black top)**
A: The Z24 (red one) only fits the Al-Star, Joy, Nexx, Safari, and Vista. The Z26 (black one) fits all these as well, though it is the only one that can be used in the Accent, CP1, Dialog 3, Logo, Pur, Scala, and Studio. **Q: I purchased the Lamy pen and this, but  bubbles get in when it's refilled, causing the pen to have an uneven flow of ink. Any suggestions?**
A: This is the way I do it --> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=smUqQZF7VkY  <-- I use a paper towel, since I do not have the fancy Lamy ink thingy!  I actually dip the whole nib into the ink bottle until it is below the ink level and draw ink into the converter, push the ink back out while the nib is still submerged, and draw ink into the converter again.  This avoids bubbles ... Good luck!

**Q: What's the difference betweekn this model and the regular z24?  thx**
A: They are practically identical, I believe the only difference is that one has a metal piece and the other is all plastic. They work the same though.

**Q: is this item able to refill with black ink?**
A: This converter is used to give the pen an internal resevoir, so instead of using pre-filled, expensive cartidges, you can use bottled ink in the color of your choice.  Blue or black or purple or green- if it comes in a bottle, go for it.
