EXELLENT

When screwing the back box to wood, there was a cracking noise as soon as slight resistance was felt on the screwhead. The knockouts were also extremely easily - almost too easily knocked out - giving me the impression the plastic is very weak and brittle which is something other reviewers have commented on. I can see a slight hairline crack in the backbox now, only when I put a little stress on it. As this is an attic socket that's only ever getting used for a CCTV recorder, I don't feel the need to replace it as the socket is still fixed securely to the wood. It really is just a small hairline crack less than 1cm in length, only visible when you remove the faceplace. But if this was a socket for in a room I wouldn't have been happy leaving it so would've wasted some money having to buy a replacement. I doubt I'd buy this same product again.

It offers convenience and versatility for powering various appliances in one location. 4. Switched plug feature: The switched plug design adds an extra layer of safety and control. I appreciate the ability to turn off the power to individual appliances without having to unplug them, which is particularly useful for devices on standby. The bad: 1. Limited color options: The product offers limited color options, and it would be great to have more choices to match different interior designs or preferences. 2. Not suitable for all wiring setups: While the double wall socket and back box pattress work well for standard wiring setups, it may not be compatible with some specific electrical systems. Customers should ensure compatibility before purchasing. In conclusion, the Double Wall Socket & Back Box Pattress is a reliable and functional electrical accessory for any household or workspace. Its sturdy construction, ease of installation, and twin 2-gang design with switched plug feature make it a practical choice for powering multiple devices. However, the limited color options and potential incompatibility with certain wiring setups are aspects to consider. Overall, it's a quality product that offers convenience and safety for handling electrical connections efficiently.
