Why should I measure both front and hind paws?

Front and hind paws often differ in size. Measuring all paws ensures the dog shoes fit comfortably on both. Focus on the width (widest part) for accuracy.

How do I prep my dog’s paws before measuring?

Trim nails and fur around the paw pad. Long nails or excess fur can distort measurements, leading to ill-fitting shoes.

Should I prioritize paw width or length when selecting a size?

Width is critical. Dog boots are designed with extra room for movement, so a proper width prevents cramping. Length can be slightly shorter but should not restrict toe extension.

What if my dog’s paw size falls between two sizes?

Choose the larger size and tighten the adjustable straps for a secure fit. A snug shoe can cause discomfort, while a slightly roomier one can be adjusted.

Can I rely solely on my dog’s breed to choose a size?

No. Paw sizes vary even within breeds. Always measure instead of guessing.Test if the shoes fit by Letting your dog walk indoors briefly. Dog booties should stay snug without slipping or restricting movement. Adjust straps gradually for comfort.
