Is there a way to stop the pump from sliding out? It was dangling half way out after wearing it a few hours sideways on my pants.

I sent my back. I had the exact same issue. Slides out very easily. They need to make modification 2 the product. Very dangerous for the user. Can dislodge the connective parts to the body
