Does it need to be refrigerated once opened?** A: No, I keep it in the cupboard and it lasts for months. Great for general stock and adding depth of flavour. Or you can crank it up and create rich and luxurious sauces. Brilliant stuff. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Adds a savoury taste to lots of dishes. *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 1 September 2020* I like to make my own chicken stock where possible and will religiously squirrel away chicken bones and carcasses in the freezer until I have enough to put a stock pot on. I will then make some kind of soup, but I have to admit that a couple of spoons of this added really takes the soup up another level in terms of flavour. Just be aware it contains a fair bit of salt so go easy on seasoning until you've tasted it..I don't add any salt before I've tasted the soup. It is also really nice added to the water when you cook rice, only put enough water in to cook the amount of rice you have, then it will all be absorbed and you are not tipping any away if you have to drain the rice. Stews and casseroles all benefit from a dollop of this and it may be useful to know it is gluten free too.
