Review: The good things are that when put in - ok, so here is an overview of the gun: The good things are that when put in, the 4 c cell batteries are VERY powerful, but quickly lose their power over time. While they don't, the gun can empty the clip in about 5 secs, and the rapid fire is amazing. The range however is not that good, definitely not the advertised 75 feet. The clips are very cool though, good capacity, and a double clip. That is very good. the stock extends for better blasting. This gun totally destroyed its targets The way to overcome the gun's power and distance deficiencies is very simple: You need to do a very slight mode to the batteries. You need to take out the c cells, and put in a 9 volt battery, one of the square ones, and connect the plus and minus with alligator clips. That way you will get a HUGE AMOUNT OF POWER. So that is how you solve the problem That is the overview of the gun Review: this gun is great except for the distances are a little short - I bought this gun for my older son at christmas time and he is having a very good time with it. It is a fully automatic gun with two see-through 18 dart clips. It runs on 4 C batteries which makes it a little heavy but it shouldn't be a problem. However, the distances and not as far as the suggested 75 feet. My two sons are huge nerf fans and both thought this gun was great. The stampede has seen alot more use. I don't have a nitron to compare against, but disc launchers almost always fly further. **Q: What kind of batteries does it take** A: This nerf gun takes 4C batteries for it to operate and run. It is sometimes a pain to find C batteries so I suggest finding some in bulk if you plan on using this gun a lot. **Q: Does this shoot faster than a rampage** A: Yes- my son has both and it is a bit faster. Especially with the elite darts. **Q: where can you find a scope for this gun** A: If you seach for "Nerf Scope" or Nerf Red Dot Site" you should find some option available on amazon. They only recently started offering them again.
