Review: Excellent trousers! - I purchased three pairs of these 15 months ago, and have worn them in 'wear and wash' rotation every single day since. They are extremely comfortable, they wash well and are very tough. They are made to last. My one slight issue is that the pocket lining material isn't as tough as the rest of the trousers and carrying keys or loose change will wear them out after some time. Other than that, they are perfect. I will definitely be getting more.

I've owned a lot of tactical clothing over the years and the material feels absolutely solid. I put them to the test every single day and they're showing no signs of failing on me, even with my demanding junk in the trunk. So for the price, I can't imagine you'd be disappointed.

**Q: It is reported that the sizing is large so order a size smaller. Is this correct?**
A: I take a 38 waist and 36 leg and found the sizing to be accurate. I suppose it's possible their larger sizes are more accurate than their smaller ones.

**Q: Do they have leg ties at the bottom of the legs (ankle ties)?**
A: 5.11 Taclite trousers do not have leg ties at the bottom of the leg.  However, they have two "buttonholes" in the "turn-ups" (or should I say "turn-ins")  through which one can thread through paracord of a lace.  I've exploited this feature on a couple of occasions.

**Q: Hiya, do these have the same internal kneepad compartments that the original 5.11 Tactical Pants have? Thanks in advance**

A: My son wears these all year round,keeps him cool in warm weather and warm on cold days.if extremely cold then thermals fit well underneath.he uses them in woodlands and also  at college.they always look smart too.As his mum I love them because they wash and tumble really well and I fold them in drawers and they still look new.He has jackets also that are 5.11 but I hang them to dry and always they still look new.shower proof,hard wearing ,smart,comfortable.100pc agree with comment by John.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very comfortable, practical and hard wearing trousers - still good after 7 years

I've just bought my second pair of Taclite Pro trousers, this review will focus however on the 1st pair I bought about 7 years ago, as far as I can tell the new trousers are essentially the same construction and design as the old ones. The first pair I bought are one of the two most comfortable pairs of trousers I own (the other being the similar but heavier 5.11 Tactical Pants), to the point that they're my preferred choice if I ever get the chance of a day of slobbing around the house. After 7 years there is a little visible wear, mainly fraying around the back of the ankles and as you'd expect for something that's had well over 100 washes they are now dark grey rather than black. The beltloops and pockets are all still intact too.
