If you have too many apparently you can store them in the fridge to keep them fresh. This might be the very hot weather this summer (2018) drying out the pads faster than usual. They do work very well. You need to get them going before it gets warm if poss. And replace every 3 months. Write the date on the back. **Q: Will this attract carpet moths in the same way?** A: Carpet moths are the same as clothes moths. This product is totally useless. I have so many moths, sone flew by without any attraction to the product. Did not catch a single moth, and I bought 2 because of the reviews. **Q: Does the moth stick to the trap?** A: Yes the male moths are attracted to the trap and get stuck. **Q: Does this product catch the white-shouldered-house moth too? nothing else i've tried seems to reduce or repel them! #infested :(** A: It's excellent for catching the common male clothes moths. Within two or three minutes thirty or forty of them had collected within a couple of feet of the trap, and within an hour they had all touched down permanently on the sticky surface. I suppose there are about 100 there now.
