## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is water the best additive for thinning acrylic color?**
A: You'll get the best performance out of your acrylics if you make use of acrylic mediums to adjust the working properties of the color - save the water for clean up! Water is the solvent for the acrylic/water emulsion that makes up an acrylic paint.

**Q: What does Palette Wetting Spray do?**
A: Liquitex Palette Wetting Spray extends the open time of acrylic paints, making them workable for a longer duration. Rinse nozzle after each use to avoid clogging due to dried acrylic resin, and remove any buildup with warm soapy water and a brush.

**Q: How do I make my color flow like water, but stay brilliant?**
A: Use Liquitex Acrylic Ink for water-like consistency and rich vibrancy. Alternatively, thin Liquitex Soft Body with Gloss Medium, Matte Medium, or Airbrush Medium for increased flow and color preservation.

**Q: What is the difference between Liquitex Flow Aid and Pouring Medium?**
A: Pouring Medium maintains structured, smooth consistency, while Flow Aid instantly thins and adds transparency, breaking surface tension. Pouring Medium contains acrylic resins, whereas Flow Aid is resin-free and needs dilution.

**Q: What is the point of a Glazing Medium?**
A: Our Professional Glazing Medium makes it easier to achieve professional results - it increases color transparency, thins and boosts gloss so you can create jewel-like glazes.
