A: It's powered by a usb lead, so you will need a usb plug like used by a mobile phone.

**Q: Will this play multicarts/bootleg games?**
A: Yes it will, this is the main reason I bought it. Most multicart/bootleg cartridges come from China or Japan and most if not all require an NTSC console to play on but with this you can switch between PAL and NTSC and they play perfectly, plus the controller is comfy as hell

**Q: Is the game genie compatible?**
A: Yes, you can. I have used it and it works fine.
