Upgraded Mandoline Slicer Green

Husband loves it. He is 6’2” and he has nice big shoulders. He can make uniform cut beautiful french fries and has zero problems shredding cabbage. The mandolin slicer is easy to use, has oodles of cool features, and is durable, sharp and doesn’t slide around. However, I am 5’7” and this is more of a workout for me. At he kitchen counter, I can do it, but my arm tires easily and my hand gets I cont because of the height issue. If I put this on the dining room table- it’s easier for me. The floor is perfect. I could slice away and I’m not worn and sore when I’m done making coleslaw. The mandolin makes it hard to injure ourselves. The mandolin is easy to disassemble for cleaning purposes. It’s not real heavy either because the majority of it is plastic. Like all lightweight items. Plastic. This is only the third mandolin I have used and it is also the best. My Moms has a closed mandolin so all the sliced material stays in one spot. It doesn’t spill and fly onto the countertop. Both of the other mandolins make it easy to slice fingers or hand parts. I recommend this mandolin as the best and safest to use with multiple options.

Absolutely love this mandoline slicer. No more worries about slicing my skin off. I've sliced, diced, and made julienne sticks and everything came out great. So easy to use and clean.

I’ve always had a love-hate relationship with mandolines. My OCD side loves cut accuracy and uniform slices, but the rest of me hates a constant, low-grade fear of being one stray movement away from an ER visit. This "Once for All" slicer is a complete 180 from those traditional finger-guillotines. The design is brilliant because your hands are nowhere near the action - you’re basically operating a shielded piston rather than sliding your palm over an open blade. Glove be gone! You can tell the designers actually spent time in a kitchen before building this. It’s packed with small details that form big practical wins. For one, the suction feet actually do a job...locking onto the counter so the unit isn't sliding around mid-prep. The quality is evident the moment you set it up; it has a sturdy, substantial weight that feels premium Then there’s the catch tray, which actually slides in and clips to the base so you aren't stuck chasing a plastic bin across the counter while trying to julienne a potato. This isn't a one-trick pony, it’s a total kitchen transformer. Slice, chop, dice, or julienne - this thing handles it all with endlessly adjustable blade positions. Just dial in the exact thickness you need, from paper-thin chips to thick slabs. I specifically wanted the square handle version for the ergonomics and sturdiness. It feels like a tool built to survive years of daily use rather than a flimsy piece of plastic that’ll blush and snap the first time it meets a parsnip. Blade sharpness is legitimate; dense root vegetables provide zero resistance making prep work more fun / less chore. Honestly, even a simple salad tastes better when the veggies are prepped this precisely. Cleanup is usually where my kitchen gadget honeymoon phase ends, but here it's a breeze. It disassembles into just a few main parts that rinse easily, and the whole unit is collapsible so it doesn't hog half your storage cabinet. If you’re like me and want professional-level prep speed without hospital-level risk, this thing is a masterpiece of thoughtful kitchen engineering. The value is outstanding considering saved time and easily one of the most satisfying upgrades I've made to my kitchen in years.

Very easy to use, safe for my 10 yr old to help me cook. Easy to setup and made chopping quick. I liked that it had suction to the counter, making it stable. Also love that it has a place to catch the cuttings! More bulky to store than my last one but folds down nicely and the blade protection is top notch! Cleaning was a bit tricky but the tools that come with to clean the item were helpful.

Chopping is super easy and safe, especially for elderly people, but it would be nice and smart if the company included a cleaning brush for the grooves and around the blade to prevent being cut in any manner. The brush should have a safety guard to help prevent accidents while cleaning. If you would add this idea of mine, I believe that your customers that already purchased the chopper should receive one safety brush free of charge as a genuine concern for the safety of your of old, new and future customers. Additional Safety Cleaning Brushes and/or Replacement Safety Brushes could be purchased. Thank you, Evelyn V.

A little confusing as to how to work it. But it sure beats cutting by hand!!!

I had the old style slicer, was skeptical about switching up. So glad I did, I love this one so much more than my prior one. This one is easy to clean and to use, and it’s so much safer. I’ve lost a little skin with the old one before, there’s no way that will happen with this new one because of the way it’s designed. I would definitely recommend this one.

Came quickly. Light weight. Was easy to assemble and use. But… I would not recommend for daily use. Became dull very quickly.
